It's normal hygienic procedure to clean our ears once every few days. However not all of us know that our ear wax can indicate the state of our health.

Ear wax is not a body waste to get rid of constantly, it has a protective function and can indicate the state of our health. It keeps the ear lubricated and prevents it from itching.

So, before we proceed, get a cotton bud and check the color of your ear wax and this article will explain what it means.

1, If your ear wax is grey in color, then there's nothing to worry about. It may look pretty unusual or scary but it is probably just dust because of the pollution of our roads and your ear wax is protecting your inner ear from anything that's not supposed to enter.

But if you feel itchiness as well as well as cracked or dry skin, then there's a threat of seborrheic eczema.

2, If your ear wax is brown, it could indicate that your body has gone through a very stressful time. And this how your ear glands reacts when you're afraid or anxious.

So if you notice this color, you should try and spend a few days in a calm and peaceful environment.

3, If your ear wax is black, though this is rare and looks terrifying. But it's because the dirts has been stored in your ears for a long time. However if your ears are itching and the itching becomes stronger you should visit your doctor. The black color might signify a fungal infection.

4, If your ear wax is white; this is actually common. It can indicate the presence of a recessive gene and the body of people with this type of ear wax has less odor than that of people with dark ear wax.

It could also signify that there's a lack of vitamins and micro elements in your body. If you have this ear wax type, eat beans more regularly.
