Some tribes in Africa have superstitious definitions of the hunchback. Due to the lack of researching equipments in the olden days, some tribes believed Hunchback to be a form of GoodLuck to the community, some believe gold may be inside, while others consider it a taboo.

Treatments;
It's obvious that you seek treatment if you notice you are developing an hunchback. Remember it can happen to anyone at any age so always keep your postural health in check; the is, the way you walk, sit, and in general, your movement.
Here are some of the treatments for the disorder; Medications (only prescribed by a registered doctor), Physical therapy, Yoga, loosing excessive weight, wearing posture correction equipments, surgery (may be needed in severe cases).
These, however, are just the basic treatments. You may have to do more research depending on the cause of your hunch.
