See the tribe where mothers wrap their babies head in order for it to grow into desired shape

Situated in the Democratic Replubic of Congo, the Mangbetu tribe is a tribe where children are made to develop their required shape of head as they grow.

Mothers do this by wrapping the heads of their babies heads with tight cloths at birth. This begins a month after the birth of the child and continues for several years till the desired shape of the head is gotten.

The tribe believes that the skull deformation brings about a higher intelligence. Although some people believe that this practice is harmful to the child's brain development, Experts says the brain is capable of adapting and developing into the shape of the skull.

The brain they say, is an elastic organ hence, can grow or expand into the desired shape without any form of damage or deformity.
