Here is a list of top celebrities you did not know that have killed someone in real life. You won't even believe some of their motives.

1. Ibinabo Fiberisima:

In 2009, Ibinabo Fiberesima, the former President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria was accused and charged with manslaughter and reckless driving. 


The actress allegedly killed one Giwa Suraj by accident in 2006. On March 16, 2016, she was sacked as President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria and was sentenced to 5 years in jail by a Federal High. She was however granted bail in the sum of ₦2 million and two sureties in like sum on April 7, 2016 by a Court of Appeal. 


2. Rabi Ismail

Rabi Ismail is a Nigerian actress who centered on Hausa movies, otherwise known as Kanywood.

Rabi Ismail was accused of drugging and drowning her boyfriend, one Mr. Ibrahim Auwalu alias Zazu, in 2002. According to reports, she allegedly added sedative drugs to his food, then pushed him to a river to die so it would look like he drowned naturaly

The apex court concluded that having considered the proof of evidence labeled against the Rabi Ismail by the Kano state Directorate of Public Prosecution, DPP, it found her guilty of homicide which is punishable with death.

Rabi, however, was dedicated not to stay in jail for the act. She surprisingly escaped the Hadejia prison which she was being detained in 2011. Her luck ran out in 2017 when she was found and re-arrested.

Hadeja went from court to court in a bid to reverse the punishment of death the judge had passed. In the end, no court was able to save her as she wasn't with any valuable proof of innocence.


3.Tayo Odueke

Tayo Odueke was born on February 21, 1976, in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, the actress is popularly known as Sikiratu Sindodo.

The actress sprang to fame following her role in the movie ‘Sikiratu Sindodo,’ which earned her the nickname.

Her ugly incident happened when she went to visit her friend, Tope Doherty who just came back from London.

The duo (Tayo and Tope), entered a red Honda CR-V driven by Sikiratu Sidondo. On their way out, passersby called their attention to a lifeless 16 month-old body allegedly crushed by her while trying to reversed her car from a Close. The Police at the Awolowo Way, Ikeja based Traffic Division were notified by this and swung to action as they arrested and detained the actress.

Tayo was said to have cried till she became unconscious. According to source, she had almost cried her eyes out as her eye balls became big and red. The victim's parents however, acknowledging the fact that their child's death was purely by accident, withdrew all charges against the actress and even swore an affidavit not to press any charges. 

4. Rich Oganiru:

Rich Oganiru is a veteran Nigerian actor. The "veteran" in his introduction is very factual as the actor has starred in about 300 movies in his career and was even a pioneer for the Actors Guild of Nigeria.

Rich allegedly murdered his multimillionaire wife to gain possession of her properties.


According to reports, the wife, who made him what he is, was admitted to hospital because of a fibroid issue. After undergoing a successful surgery, the wife died days later. The surprised doctor, in a bid to clear his name, carried out an autopsy on the deceased body and discovered a poison pill in her stomach - the pill was the actual cause of her death. Investigations was carried out as to who poisoned the woman.

It was later concluded that the husband, Rich Oganiru, who poisoned his wife. Rich, however, denied the allegations, but later confessed to the act. It was said that Rich carried out this devilish act so as to aquire the wife's multimillion properties.

5. Burna boy

Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, known professionally as Burna Boy was born on the 2nd of July 1991. He is a Nigerian singer and songwriter.

In 2013, according to a report by "The Net", burna boy was arrested and charged to court for allegedly stabbing someone in a gang related issue in London. He was tried as a minor and sentenced to jail. 11month later, Burna Boy was released on parole with community service after he exhibited good behavior in jail. Burna boy flew to Nigeria and signed for aristocrat records where he released a song titled "freedom". In the song, he addressed to his fans that he is now a changed man and don't want to go back to jail

Burna boy, however, denied all allegations of the crime labelled against him, deeming them false. 

As a result of the crime, burna boy was banned from entering U.K until 2016.
